Thermal Treatment Summit: Technology for Resource Recovery
A partner event with Nova Scotia Environment (NSE), this summit aimed to educate the attendees on advanced thermal treatment technologies/processes, highlight jurisdictions that have adopted these technologies, and provide evidence on their success and lessons learned.
On May 14, Divert NS, in partnership with Nova Scotia Environment (NSE), hosted the Thermal Treatment Summit: Technology for Resource Recovery in Dartmouth. The goals of the event were to educate the attendees on advanced thermal treatment technologies/processes, highlight jurisdictions that have adopted these technologies, and provide evidence on their success and lessons learned. Almost 60 key stakeholders attended the event, including municipal staff, elected officials, provincial and regional NSE staff, and environmental organizations.
