In June 2026, Divert NS awarded a total of $10,000 in cash prizes to youth teams across Nova Scotia for organizing a bottle drive in their community.

The number of beverage containers collected and returned throughout the contest totalled 706,647! That's over $45,000 going towards youth teams in Nova Scotia including our awards. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped to keep Nova Scotia clean by recycling responsibly.
