All recyclable containers must be clean & dry. Do not place other recyclables with container blue bag.

Organics

Richmond County residents must place the following materials in a backyard composter. Always cover your wet food waste with a layer of shredded paper,dry leaves,straw, or dry grass clippings

  • Fruit & vegetable peelings, Bread, Rice, Pasta, Coffee Grounds, Filters, Tea Bags, Eggshells

Yard Waste:
  • Leaves & grass clippings, Hay or Straw

Soiled Paper:
  • Paper Towel Rolls, Food Napkins

Other: Shredded paper, Soiled napkins, paper & cardboard

Place for collection in a transparent "Clear" bag only ! A limit of "one" small grocery bag per week will be permitted in "one" clear bag for personal bathroom waste.
