Corrugated Cardboard:

Please flatten and tie cardboard in 3ftX2ftX2ft bundles

Please note: Larger bundles cannot fit into the collection truck.

Recyclables

Your Blue Bag must be clean with no dirt to be seen!
Blue Bag Recyclables:
Put in clear or see-through blue bag :

  • Clean plastic bags (can be stuffed inside one bag)

  • Empty aerosol cans

  • Pie plates and Foil wrap - rinse and crumple

  • Rigid plastic - including take-out sandwich containers

  • Glass Bottles and Jars

  • Steel & Aluminum Cans

  • Milk Containers

  • Mini Sips & Tetra Juice Packs*

  • Bread Bags

  • Dry Cleaning Bags

  • Frozen Food Bags

  • Bubble Wrap

  • All Deposit Bearing Containers*

  • Soiled MILK BAGS and other SOILED PLASTICS are garbage

Organics

Collected every 2 weeks even
if not full.
Place the following items in your organics green cart


Food Waste:
  • Fruit & vegetable peelings, Table Scraps, Meat, Dairy Products, Cooking Oil & Fat (cool, wipe with paper towel, place in green cart), Bread, Rice, Pasta, Bones, Coffee Grounds, Filters, Tea Bags, Eggshells, Fish, Paper plates, and hot drink cups (lids and straws removed), Waxed paper

Yard Waste:
  • Excess leaves, Brush and Plants

Soiled Paper:
  • Food Napkins, Paper Towels
Not for organics bin:
  • No Plastics or Styrofoam

  • No metals

  • No glass

  • No decorations or wire wreaths

  • No pet waste or kitty litter


Garbage
