Organics

Collected bi-weekly.

Place for collection by 6:30 am.

Materials may be placed in compostable or paper bags. No plastic.
Place the following items in your organics green cart.


Food Waste:
  • Bread, Bones, Coffee Grounds, Dairy Products, Eggshells, Fruit & vegetable peelings, Fish, Meat, Pasta, Rice, Tea Bags

Yard Waste:
  • Brush and Plants, Excess leaves

Soiled Paper:
  • Cereal Boxes (remove inner liner), Food Napkins, Paper Towels, Paper Plates

Other: Sawdust & Wood Shavings
Not for organics bin:
  • No glass

  • No Plastic

  • No decorations or wire wreaths

  • No rocks, logs or tree trunks

Organic items only. Not to be used to store garbage.

Garbage

Place materials in clear non colored bags only. One small 20"x22" privacy bag per clear bag is permitted (residential only). One bulky garbage item (furniture) may be placed for collection per garbage collection.
